Environmental Science Associates (ESA) is pleased to announce that Julie Sullivan has joined the firm as Southeast Regional Director and Director of the Southeast Biological Resources and Land Management Group. Julie will be replacing outgoing Regional Director, Mike Arnold, who will continue in his role as ESA Airports Deputy Practice Leader.
“Julie’s strategic hire adds a new layer of expertise that expands our region’s capabilities in environmental services,” says Mike Arnold. “She’s focused on partnering with clients to develop innovative and practical solutions for natural resource management.”
Julie brings more than 12 years of Florida environmental consulting experience for transportation, environmental, water supply, community development, and aviation clients to ESA. Julie is experienced in the full range of environmental services needed to support public and private projects, including wetland delineation, Uniform Mitigation Assessment Method (UMAM), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance, comprehensive mitigation services, listed species coordination, and the application of federal/state/local environmental regulations.

Prior to joining ESA, Julie was the Central Florida environmental sciences manager for an international engineering firm. Additionally, as a former permitting specialist with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), Julie brings her regulatory experience and excellent agency relationships to ESA’s existing and future clients.
